February 1, 2005 - SAN FRANCISCO - CyberBears, LLC (www.cyberbears.com) will be bringing some of its cast, crew, and staff to the International Bear Rendezvous in San Francisco this year. The company, which specializes in adult entertainment aimed at gay bears and their admirers, is planning a number of promotions to help support the Bears of San Francisco (www.bosf.org) at their annual gathering.

CyberBears will be staffing a double-space vendor booth in the "Vendor Maul" shopping gallery at the San Francisco Ramada. The company plans to invite attendees to meet and receive autographs from many of the CyberBears models featured in web sites and in DVD releases. CyberBears will also be hosting a bear party (www.bearparty.com) and donating a portion of the profits to Safe Sex City (www.safesexcity.com), a local nonprofit organization promoting healthy sex practices among members of the gay community. In addtion, CyberBears will be offering attendees a chance to win one of ten free DVD's to be given away at a drawing on Sunday, the 20th of February, at noon.

According to the Bears of San Francisco, "The International Bear Rendezvous (www.bosf.org/woof/ibr) is an annual gathering of bears and bear-lovers held in San Francisco. It is hosted by the Bears of San Francisco, who conceived of Rendezvous as a weekend of fun and fund-raising, intended to foster a sense of community among participants while at the same time raising money for agencies serving the gay and HIV communities at the local, state, and national level. Fund-raising is accomplished primarily through raffles, auctions, and direct donations from participants and the community. Since the first Rendezvous in 1995, the net proceeds have resulted in donations totaling over $250,000 to such organizations."
